Shipping and Returns Policy

At Armela Hair Boutique, we want you to feel confident and happy with your purchase. To keep things simple and transparent, here’s how our shipping, returns, and guarantees work.

Product Guarantee

Armela Hair Boutique extensions are crafted to meet the highest standards of quality. When cared for according to our Aftercare Guide, they are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects.

  • The guarantee does not cover damage caused by colouring, bleaching, chemical treatments, normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, or improper installation/reapplication.

  • We guarantee our tape extensions against slippage for 4–6 weeks from the date of initial application, provided our recommended aftercare products and instructions are strictly followed.

  • Claims must be made within 30 days of purchase (except in the case of proven manufacturing defects within the 3-month warranty period). Late claims may be reviewed at our discretion.

When Returns Are Accepted

You may return products only if:

  1. They do not meet the product guarantee (proven manufacturing defect or tape slippage within the stated periods) → Must be cared for according to our Aftercare Guide. → Replacement or store credit only.

  2. Change of mind → Within 14 days of purchase/receipt → Completely unopened, original sealed packaging with hygiene seals intact → Store credit or exchange only (no cash refunds) → Once opened, no change-of-mind returns are accepted (hygiene reasons).

Important: Purchases made through another salon, retailer, or wholesaler must be returned to them. Only items bought directly from Armela Hair Boutique can be returned to us.

How to Return a Product

If you need to arrange a return, here’s what to do:

  1. Double-check the Product Guarantee and When Returns Are Accepted policy to ensure your product qualifies. If unsure, email us at armela@armelahairboutique.com.au.

  2. Have your invoice or order number ready when you contact us.

  3. The item must be in its original sealed packaging with hygiene seals intact (unopened for change-of-mind; may be opened only for proven faulty claims).

  4. Post your return (at your expense, unless the item is deemed faulty due to manufacturing defect) to:

  5. Once received, our team will assess the return and contact you within 7 business days.

  6. If approved, replacement or store credit will be issued within 14 business days (subject to stock availability). No cash refunds are provided under any circumstances.

  7. If your return does not meet our policy conditions, the item will be returned to you at your cost. Any unpaid postage or handling fees will be invoiced. If payment is not received within 30 days, the product will be disposed of due to limited storage.

Tip: We recommend using Registered Post or a trackable courier service, as Armela Hair Boutique cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

For quality concerns or warranty claims, please email photos and details to armela@armelahairboutique.com.au first — this often speeds things up.

Incorrect Orders

If you’ve received the wrong item or a damaged item (sent by us), please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order by emailing armela@armelahairboutique.com.au with photos and your order number. We’ll fix the issue promptly – if it’s our error we cover all shipping costs for the exchange.

If you ordered the wrong colour or length, we’re happy to exchange it within 48 hours of delivery provided the hair is unused and in its original sealed packaging with hygiene seals intact. In this case you pay return postage to us and postage for the new item.

Replacements, Credits & Refunds

  • For approved warranty claims or when we have sent the wrong/damaged item → products will be replaced with the same style, length and colour originally ordered (we pay return shipping if it’s our fault).

  • If you ordered the wrong colour/length (within 48 hours) → exchange available, customer pays shipping both ways.

  • If the exact replacement isn’t possible, store credit will be issued.

  • No cash refunds are provided (except where strictly required by Australian Consumer Law).
