At Armela Hair Boutique, we’re committed to making sure you’re happy with your purchase. To avoid confusion, we’ve put together this policy so you know exactly how returns and refunds are handled for Hair Extensions and Accessories.
Product Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of Armela Hair Boutique Hair Extensions. When they’re applied and cared for correctly, they’re guaranteed to be free from faults.
Please note:
The guarantee doesn’t cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by colouring, bleaching, chemical treatments, misuse, or neglect.
Any warranty claims must be lodged within 30 days of purchase. After this time, claims may not be accepted.
When Returns Are Accepted
Because of strict health and hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns for change of mind once extension packaging has been opened.
If your purchase was made through another salon, store, or wholesaler, returns will need to go through that original place of purchase. Returns can only be handled by Armela Hair Boutique for items bought directly from us.
How to Organise a Return
If you believe your product may be faulty, here’s what to do:
Email us first at armela@armelahairboutique.com.au. If your product is eligible for return, we’ll issue you a Return Authority (RA) number.
We’ll email you a returns form to complete. This must be sent back to us and also included in your return package.
Make sure your items are in original packaging. If returning faulty hair, please tie it neatly before posting.
Post your return (at your cost unless the product is proven faulty) to:

Approved refunds or replacements (depending on stock) will be processed within 7 business days.
Please don’t send anything back without contacting us first. Items without a valid RA number cannot be accepted.
Incorrect Orders or Missing Items
If you receive the wrong product or something is missing, please let us know within 7 business days of delivery by emailing armela@armelahairboutique.com.au We’ll make sure the issue is corrected quickly. Returned hair must be in its original packaging and unused.
Refunds, Credits & Replacements
If your warranty claim is approved, your product will either be replaced with the same style/colour, or you’ll receive a credit if replacement isn’t possible.
You can note your preference on the RA form, however final decisions are at Armela Hair Boutique’s discretion.
Non-Warranty Replacements
If you’d like to change the colour or swap an item for reasons other than a warranty claim, a 15% restocking and handling fee applies.
Extension Care & Recommendations
To get the best results:
Weft extensions are recommended for medium to thick hair.
Tape extensions are suitable for all hair types, though thicker hair may need additional packs for full coverage.
We also strongly recommend using quality hair designed specifically for these extensions. Products containing Argan/Moroccan oils, protein, citrus, keratin treatments, high alcohol, lauryl sulphate, medicated or toning shampoos, or fake tan can cause slippage, discolouration, or void your warranty.
